The Grief Workshop - DUBLIN - Clayton Leopardstown - Sun Nov 29th
A day of support, meaningful connection, reflection and real tools for living with grief.
The Grief Workshop is a welcoming space for anyone living with loss, whether your grief is recent or you have been carrying it for many years.
As we come towards the end of the year, a time that can feel particularly difficult and lonely when someone you love is missing, this day is an opportunity to step away from the noise for a few hours and simply be with people who understand.
There is no pressure to speak, share your story or participate in anything you don't feel comfortable with. You can simply come, listen, reflect and take from the day whatever feels right for you.
Throughout the day, you can expect a thoughtful mix of real-life stories, expert support, meaningful conversation and quiet reflection.
I'm also delighted that some much-loved previous guests from the Family Flowers Only podcast will be joining us for a relaxed, fireside-style conversation about grief, life after loss and learning to carry the people we love with us.
The day will also include:
A therapist Q&A, with practical guidance and an opportunity to ask questions
Real-life conversations and stories of loss, hope and life after loss
Gentle restorative practices such as breathwork and movement
Guided journaling and reflection, with space to pause and write if you wish
Our beautiful candlelit remembrance ceremony to honour the people we love and miss
Time over tea, coffee and lunch to connect with others who truly understand
Everything throughout the day is optional. There is nothing expected of you other than to come as you are.
Perhaps the most special part of these workshops is the community in the room. You may arrive knowing nobody, but you will be surrounded by people who understand something of what it means to live with loss.
My hope is that you leave feeling a little less alone, with some practical tools, new connections and a little more support to carry with you into the months ahead.
